I Bought a Ukulele!

I've been a secret singer for years.  I've taken private lessons and classes but I'm still really not that technically good.  I've taken piano lessons so that I could read music and sing along but I have forgotten how to play.  I have asked people to play piano for me while I practice singing, but I don't like relying on others and subjecting them to my voice.

I know of several people who play the uke and it's reported to be one of the easier instruments to learn how  to play.  I love its size and portability.  So this compact instrument is a new hobby of mine when I'm just sitting on the couch relaxing from my day.  It's also the perfect size for my tiny apartment.

My other musical endeavor is to learn the program Garage Band.  I checked out Logic at first and then realized that was too daunting.  I need to start with something easier and if it clicks with me, then I can move on to  more complicated programs.

I want to make beats.  I want to make sweet and simple little songs.  Build from there and see what happens.
