A Couple of Installation Shots of the Warm Fuzzies Show at Scoops

Paul from the Happy Store provided these images.  Thanks Paul!  I have some other photos as well (process shots and reception shots) and maybe I will post them.  The lighting was really bad in them so it will take some work before they show up on the internet.

Anyways, a big thanks to everyone who showed up at the show.  It was a lot of fun to gather with all of my friends, eat yummy ice cream and talk art.

I was really happy with the 3 pieces behind the plex boxes.  You can see one of them in the top photo.  Matt fabricated the boxes for me so that I didn't have to go to a plexiglass place to have them made.  He was such a lifesaver!

Warm Fuzzies and Cold Ice Cream

My Show "Warm Fuzzies" is opening at Scoops this Friday.  I'm so excited!  I'm happy to get the work out of the box and up onto a wall.  It's been sitting stored away unfinished for too many years.  It's great to finally have them seen and close this chapter.

There are actually four more panels that still need to be assembled in order to call this a completely finished series.  I want to bring the series to a full conclusion but I really miss working on my current art projects.  I think I will just make it a goal to finish them in the next six months in between everything else I have to work on.

I have to again say that it feels REALLY good to see the Warm Fuzzies all up on a wall together.  Be sure to check out the Scoops blog or Artslant for more info!
